President Obama signed the Department of Homeland Security funding bill for FY2015. Therefore, there will be no impact to NOAA Corps Pay. Officers are encouraged to check their Payslips within HR Direct Access to monitor for any errors in pay that are leftover from the system conversion at the beginning of the year. Please keep in mind that unlike the old singular monthly Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), officers now receive two Payslips per month. If any discrepancies in pay are found, the NOAA Corps Payroll Unit should be alerted immediately via email at NOAACorps.Payrollunit@noaa.gov.

Personal Health information (PHI) must not be submitted to the Medical Administration Branch via e-mail unless your attachments are encrypted. PHI must be submitted via the medical OPF online or by using Accellion Secure File Transfer. To activate or re-activate your Accellion account please go to https://sft2.doc.gov/. As a reminder, Promotion Boards are approaching soon. Officers are encouraged to review their medical OPF periodically between now and after the selections have been made to ensure that your medical status is still current. The medical OPF provides detailed information regarding deficiencies, expiration date of your most recent dental examination, periodic physical examination, as well as other diagnostic tests. Please contact CDR Hobson-Powell (Elizabeth.hobson-powell@noaa.gov) if there are any discrepancies, or if you have any questions about your medical OPF.
