The Officer Personnel Management Division (OPMD) provides the full spectrum of human resources services to NOAA Corps officers, retirees and NOAA Corps families. Our work affects the quality of life of every NOAA Corps officer. We manage officer promotions, awards, records, transfers, appointments, benefits, retirements, separations, personnel actions and entitlement programs...one Division managing an officers entire career from the day they enter Basic Officer Training until retirement and beyond.
Officer Personnel Management Division (OPMD) services over 300 Active Duty officer records in support of numerous Officer Personnel Boards each year and all personnel actions involving the Official Personnel Folder (OPF).
Requesting Corrections: Please review your OPF very closely. These are the same files that are reviewed by Officer Personnel Boards. If you find an error in your OPF, use the "Document Fix" tool in your OPF Online, or if you have questions about your OPF contact CPC via the "Contact CPC" link in OPF Online.
While many NOAA Corps officers and their families will be far from home on election days, they are able to cast their votes -- thanks to absentee ballots and the NOAA Corps' Voting Assistance Program.
The Voting Assistance Guide and your CPC Human Resources Specialist can assist you with registering and requesting a ballot online or using the Federal Postcard Application (FPCA) Standard Form 76. Completing the FPCA and sending it to your local voting jurisdiction is all it takes.
The best time to apply for an absentee ballot is more than 45 days before the election.
In most states, ballots are mailed to voters 20 days before the election. Remember, every vote counts. You are a part of this nation's way of life by exercising your right to vote!
